kathy fink, music director

kathy finkKathy has worked at many area theaters, serving as both pianist and musical director. She teaches all levels & styles of piano, leads the Fourth Street Jazz Choir, and serves as musical director for St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Dover, NH. Kathy has a BA in Piano Performance and an MA in Music History from UNH. Kathy has also worked as pianist and musical director at the Bell Center, Hackmatack Playhouse, SRT, Prescott Park, the Palace Theatre, the Firehouse Center, Maui on Stage, the American Stage Festival, Garrison Players, Rochester Opera House, and many more. In addition to her theatre work, Kathy has accompanied soloists, community choirs, and chamber music groups, and performs for weddings, parties, funerals, recitals and recording sessions. Adele Jones, Dance Director *

Adele JonesAdele has been dancing and performing her entire life. She took her first tap class when she was 3 and started performing in theater when she was 6. Adele became interested in choreography and teaching in high school, and continued studying these interests at UNH, where she graduated with a double-major in Theatre: Dance and Psychology. Adele now works as a choreographer and teacher for local children's theatrical productions, and as a choreographer and dancer for professional theaters around the seacoast. Her passions lie equally with dancing and working with children, and she is so excited to be able to combine those here for her 5th year at CCS!

shay willard, Media Director and CIT Mentor *

shay willardShay is very excited to be returning for his 8th year at Camp Center Stage! He is a recent M.F.A. recipient from Ohio University, and runs a video production company (named for Crescent Lake!) out of New Hampshire. Shay studied television production at Ithaca College, spent some time in the commercial industry in LA and edited reality TV in Denver. He can't wait to write another song with his cabin for the talent show!

Meghann Beauchamp, LIT Program Director

Meghann BeauchampMeghann Beauchamp is a Michigan native who holds a BA in Theatre from Ohio Wesleyan University. A performer, technical director and designer, Meghann relishes the variety and creativity of life in the theatre. For the last ten years, Meghann has been the director of the NH Theatre Project's Junior Youth Repertory Company; an artist-in-residence at New Hampshire and Maine schools; and a staff member at various day and overnight summer theatre camps in the area. Meghann has served as a director, actress, vocalist, technical director, production manager, stage manager, carpenter, properties master, electrician and/or set & lighting designer for production companies and theatre artists throughout the Seacoast, including NHTP, The Music Hall, Ogunquit Playhouse and Seacoast Repertory Theatre. Meghann's true passion lies in the self-discovery and awareness that one can gain at any age through the process of theatre!

Rebecca Rudolf, CIT Mentor *

Rebecca RudolfBecky holds a degree in Musical Theatre from Plymouth State University. She currently lives in Portsmouth, NH and spends her time working in special education, having adventures with the after school group, Planet Rangers, and performing on the many stages of the seacoast! Recent credits include Rhonda in the 'Sharp Dressed Men Trilogy,' Sonny in 'Uncle Vanya in Maine,' Alto/Ensemble in 'Sweeney Todd,' Maguerite/Morgan in 'Cape May,' Edith in 'Blithe Spirit,' Callie in 'Stop Kiss,' June in 'Chicago' and Pam in 'The Full Monty.' She loves candy, summer camp, dressing up, knitting, and ice cream.

Cori Thomson

Cori ThomsonCori has worked on the technical crew for local theater productions and volunteers her time as an usher. She brings a wealth of knowledge of the outdoors from her years as a Boy Scout and volunteer for her old troop. With her summers spent on the rivers and lakes of New Hampshire and Maine, she is experienced with canoeing and kayaking as well as the more rustic way of camping. Cori is proud to have been a part of CCS's inaugural year and is delighted to take part in the next year of this amazing experience.

Haylie Warren **

Haylie WarrenThis will be Haylie's 3rd year at CCS, serving as one of our 4 Lifeguards and licensed EMT. Haylie got her start in theatre as a sophomore in high school with Fiddler on the Roof. Since then she has been in a few shows, but spending time stage managing, set design, and everything in between. Her favorites have been portraying "Rebecca Nurse" in The Crucible, and designing lights for Hamlet at UH Manoa. Haylie is thrilled to be the camp lifeguard again this summer and can not wait to be back at Agawam!

Kelley Plante

Kelley PlanteKelley loves Camp CenterStage and looks forward to returning every summer! Kelley has a Bachelor's degree in Music Industry from Drexel University, and is pursuing a multi-faceted career in live music. She independently writes and performs her own music, and loves sharing her songwriting passions at camp. Kelley has also studied dance in a variety of styles over the last 18 years, specializing in modern, hip-hop, and tap technique. A world traveler and adventurer, she's very eager to share her stories and experiences with CCS campers this summer and hopes to help her campers reach their creative goals.

Kalen Willits **

Kalen WillitsKalen has been living in Maui for 11 years and is studying music at the University of Hawaii-Maui. He began studying vocals and performing as an actor in musical theater with Maui Onstage at the Iao Theater, debuting as Roger in Jonathan Larson's Rent. He has worked as a stage hand at the Maui Arts And Cultural Center, and currently works as an intern in the music department for Maui Preparatory Academy, and at Lahaina Music, where he teaches guitar and ukulele. Kalen also enjoys playing electric guitar in his own rock bands!

Erin McGillicuddy

Erin McGillicuddyThe first year of Camp Centerstage Erin started out as a camper, and has been with CCS a every year since. Erin spend 3 wonderful summers as a camper, and the 4th she completed the counselor in training program. Then last summer Erin was selected a an LIT, and completed the leadership in training program. Now in her 6th year at CCS, Erin is ready the next step into a counselor position - she is excited and ready to go!!

Sarah Knox

Sarah KnoxSarah is a Pinkerton Academy graduate in Derry New Hampshire. Sarah will be a Junior in college, where she is perusing Communications and Media as her major. She has been at CSS for five years now. In 2014 she was a part of the CIT program, in 2015 she was in the LIT program. This will be her third year as a cabin counselor. She is more than excited to be apart of the CCS team and is ready to spread the Camp CenterStage Can-Do Attitude! (CCSCDA!).

Maggie Stokes

Maggie StokesMaggie is excited to be back at Camp CenterStage. She recently graduated from Paul Mitchell The School and is now a licensed cosmetologist. I have been going to Camp CenterStage since 2012, and I easily consider it my home away from home. Before that I used to be a Venture Scout from 2012-2016. Maggie is excited to come back to CenterStage after taking a gap year from camp to pursue her studies. She has worked many times as the hair and makeup designer and coordinator, including Voices of Hope's production of Children of Eden at the North Shore Music Theater where she also had the pleasure of being the part of The Snake in a musical and dancing number as well as a Storyteller. She has been doing theater for ten years with local community theaters around eastern Massachusetts. Maggie is excited to see all the new and familiar faces at camp this year.

Drew Masse

Drew MasseDrew is so excited to join the CCS team as a counselor this year. He has been a part of the camp's CIT program for the past two years, and has loved every second of it. Drew started performing in local theatre at nine years old, and has since then been non-stop involved in the performing arts community. He has competed as a finalist in Maine's Got Talent, received acting awards for his performances in the Maine One Act Competition and the New England Theatre Conference, and has even performed Off-Broadway. Drew begins school at USM as a Musical Theatre major in the fall. He can't wait to share his love of the arts with the campers!

alexis dascoulias, founder / camp director

alexis and steven dascouliasAlexis holds a BA in theater education and has over 20 years experience as a teacher, director, camp director and producer. Alexis is the Executive Director for Maui OnStage at the Iao Theater where she recently played Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun, directed Inherit the Wind ELF the musical, La Cage aux Folles, The Wizard of Oz and James and the Giant Peach. She was the Head of the Drama Department at Dover High School (NH) from 1995-2002 and the Education Director / Executive Director for Seacoast Repertory Theater in Portsmouth, NH before moving to Maui. She served as the Drama Club Director for Kamehameha Maui High School for two years and has been a guest teacher at the Hawaii State STEM conference for six years. She is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Kahului.. Alexis and husband, Steven, co-founded Camp CenterStage, LLC eight years ago and are thrilled to host camps from Maine to Maui!

steven dascoulias, founder / Counselor Mentor

Steven has over 25 years experience as a professional actor/singer, voice instructor, director and music director. Steven has taught music at Waihee Elementary School and the after school drama program at Maui Weana Intermediate School. New England audiences saw him as Javert in Les Miserables at Hackmatack Playhouse, where he will be playing Lawrence in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Maui audiences have seen him in Annie Get Your Gun, The Producers, South Pacific, The King and I and La Cage aux Folles. On Sunday mornings, he can frequently be found playing piano at St Theresa Church in Kihei. Steven and Alexis are co-founders of Camp CenterStage, LLC and are celebrating its eighth anniversary!

jeffrey elwood, assistant camp director

jeffrey elwoodJeffrey returns for his 17th year at Agawam, and brings with him a diverse background working with young people in the areas of music, theatre and sports. A resident of Portsmouth and a graduate of SUNY, he's spent half his life involved in youth theatre around the NH Seacoast, including serving as a director at summer camps. Jeffrey was one of the founders of Cocheco Arts and Technology Academy, and is the Director of several local theatre and school theatre programs. His passion is to encourage young people to identify their gifts and passion and reach their potential. He enjoys playing the drums, coaching soccer & softball, and is looking forward to his 15th year as a summer Camp Director!

carla murphyCarla has been a registered nurse for over 25 years, and is proud to say she has been with Camp CenterStage since it started - and it's her 12th year at Agawam! Carla enjoys working with the campers, mending their bumps and bruises and encouraging them to try new things at camp. She really enjoys seeing all the campers on stage, and enjoying themselves at the waterfront!

Katie Kachejian, Outreach Coordinator

Katie KachejianKatie is thrilled to be joining the phenomenal staff of CCS for her 3rd year of summer camp adventures. Katie was born and raised in NH and graduated from Plymouth State University with a Bachelors degree in Performing Arts. Katie now lives in Hoboken, New Jersey with her fiance and looks forward to spending two weeks every summer back in New England! Katie has been on stage since the age of nine and has worked in regional theatres all over the East Coast. She also spent a year of her life travelling across the United States in pigtails as Laura in the National Tour of Laura Ingalls Wilder. She has been working at various theatre camps for over a decade now and has loved every second of it, being a camp counselor is something that Katie truly believes she was born to do. She looks forward to seeing you all in August!
